The ruins are indicative of the Forum’s place as a melting pot of politics, religion and society.
- Complex of the Victorian Ala Brasini: Next, you’ll see one of the most distinctive monuments in the city Il Vittoriano. Built in 1885 in honour of King Victor Emmanuel II, tis enormous neoclassical building is referred to as “Wedding Cake” by the locals.
- Palazzo Del Quirinale: Near to here is the Quirinal Palace, official residence of the current Italian President.
